An elderly female patient complained of growth and mild pain while walking along the outer edge of the foot. She reported that she has been noting the growth for 3 years. On radiographs in lateral view, a rather large bone density formation is visible. It may seem that this is an artifact or a foreign body or a stain of radiopaque substance on the cassette. However, the second view showed the formation as well. When removed, it was a densely elastic formation in the capsule. On the cut, it is a fibrous tissue granuloma containing calcification with white liquid contents.
